Anyone ever read a series that you particularly dislike, but love a character in the said series? If so, why?



For me, it'd be Air Gear. I used to love reading it, but the recent chapters have been full of disappointment, and then I got fed up and dropped the series altogether.

However, I am still quite fond of a certain character in the series, Kururu Sumeragi. Heck, she's still my #1 favorite character ever, even after almost two years. Which usually doesn't happen, since I'm pretty fickle.

For such a timid-looking and shy girl, she has some real guts and is a lot more useful than many other girls in the series, which in my opinion exist partially just for fan service.

Kururu is literally the only reason I still collect the Air Gear manga and other merchandise.

I know there is a series I dislike and love a certain character, but I just can't think of it, at the moment.

Edit: I have to mention this, but I really don't like Inuyasha, but I do like the character Sango because of her tombyness and her personality.

I also liked Sango and Miroku, probably because they didn't have a lot of screen time. <.< which made them more acceptable than Inuyasha and Kagome.

:O Her hair is pinkishy purple.

Well at first, there was no color picture of Kururu, so I assumed she was blond. And when the first colored version of her came out, her hair was purple. And now it's turning pink. And even her hair style changed; from loose and disheveled to pointy and sharp enough to cut someone's hand off, and now it's just a bit fluffy.

She has the best hair ever, srsly. Ultra Razor Sharp Chameleon hair. ;D

Witch Hunter Robin was kinda meh for me but Michael was AMAZING!
