Time for the handhelds to face off.

My sister has a PSP. She has like fifteen games for it, some of them I bought myself.
Two of them are actually interesting to play: Final Fantasy Tactics and Radiant Mythology. You can also store music, photos, video, and access the internet. These features don't mean squat.

The DS has crappy graphics, however, it has a ton more better games than the PSP will ever have, and that's what only really counts:

FF Tactics A2
FF Crystal Chronicles
Tales of Hearts
Tales of Innocence
And some others I forget...

Modify the DS a bit, and you can store music, photos, and a few videos. With an added attachment, you can also surf the web. However these features don't mean squat, either.

The fact that the DS has Pokemon automatically makes it better than the PSP. Having Phoenix Wright makes it overkill. However, that is my opinion.



What is yours?

I have to disagree. The PSP is a lot better than the DS.

The graphics are 10x better on the PSP, and the PSP does not require modding to play music, watch videos, go on the net, or view pictures (which, I agree, don't mean squat).

The PSP is also completely customizable as far as the icons and backgrounds go.

While I do admit that Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, the Final Fantasies, the Tales games (which are only in Japanese, which kinda sucks), and Kirby make the DS a must-have system, the PSP also has many games that are just awesome. Just a few of the great games for the PSP would be: Tales of the World Radiant Mythology, Tales of Eternia, Valkyrie Profile Lenneth, Dragoneer's Aria, Jeanne D'Arc, Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core, and God of War Chains of Olympus.

The PSP can also link up to your PS3 system, and, when you mod the firmware, can emulate almost any system.

In all, I definitely say that the PSP is better.

I have to agree that the PSP has better graphics and has a lot more options. Also, it has some pretty awesome games like Crisis Core and the Tale games.

I have a DS and I like it a lot. I enjoy how it's very interactive and you can press the screen (for certain games) with the little stick thingy (Don't shoot me. Having a lack of brain cells) or use the microphone for the games, at times. Also, I do like the two double screen, which just makes the game play much different than the PSP. And of course because Pokemon is on the DS, xD. So I'm siding with the DS.

@lionheart: Maybe I have a strange preference, but I've played most of the PSP games you listed and none of them interested me.

actually the DS is more popular in japan; o_O. It was ranked number 1 and psp was ranked number 2, and other was number three.
I think DS is better for some games on it offer 3-D games.

Pfft! DDR, ftw!

I don't have either one, but they're both good in their own ways. DS came out first and has double screens, while the PSP came out afterwards and has better images.

Nintendo's never been one to go all out on graphics, which is why their stuff is so cheap, which is always nice.
